The beach. Although some people confuse the coast of Benissa with that of the nearby towns of Calpe and Moraira, the truth is that it has its own coastline that stretches for 4 kilometres. You can bathe in its rocky coves and clear waters.

The colours of the area, together with the fact that it is usually quite quiet, will allow you to enjoy a few moments of calm on your next holiday. In summer it does not receive as many visitors as others, but as soon as the tourists leave, it is the ideal place to spend a day at the beach and find very few people.
Old Town. The Old Town of Benissa is one of the most spectacular in the area. We recommend that you start your walk in the Plaza del Portal, in order to see the town’s Town Hall. This building was built in 1790 and until the early eighties of the last century it was the Municipal Hospital. It is worth visiting the Church of San Pedro, which was once built as a fortress to protect the town from pirate attacks. That is why it is so special and also because it is dedicated to the patron saint of Benissa, the Purísima Xiqueta.
Peñón de Ifach. Yes, we know, the Peñón de Ifach is not in Benissa, but in Calpe. But from the Cala Baladrar cove you can contemplate this natural monument. However, it is made of boulders, has a lot of vegetation and cannot be reached by a path. You have to walk a little way along the road or arrive by car and leave it in the car park.
Paddle Surf. Even if you haven’t paddle surfed yet, you surely know that it is one of the trendiest water sports. In Benissa you can enjoy this experience in some of its coves.
