Benidorm’s promenade integrates the artificial with the natural. Do you know what that means? The project has encompassed different essences, ranging from organic forms of modernism, to nature’s geometric shapes, the latest construction technologies and cutting-edge landscaping techniques.
The forms that constitute this promenade enable easy, direct access from its car park, making it an architectural place that shapes a new topography and oversees interplay between light and shadow. The best part is it will remind you of the structure of a cliff as well as the movement of the waves and tides. Look closely!
Benidorm’s promenade is formed by different colours. As indicated by its creators, it comprises three different layers. The first of these is its white edging. The next layer has different textures and colours. Finally, there is the layer where the urban furniture and natural elements, such as water and vegetation, are located.
The promenade includes all aspects in a fully functional manner: promenade, space, viewpoint, transition space between beach and city, direct access point to parking areas, beach lighting, road link, integration with urban furniture, services infrastructure and more!
From the facade you can enjoy incredible sea views, given that it was designed from the path’s high peak and it establishes a new limit.
If you’ve decided to visit Benidorm’s promenade and enjoy its wonderful structure, you can also enjoy its fantastic leisure scene. What are we talking about? Keep reading to find out more!
