How to decorate the camping pitch?
The first thing you should bear in mind when thinking about how to decorate your camping pitch is that in most cases it will be temporary. It is true that there are some people who live permanently in this type of space, but usually you will only stay for a few weeks.
People who go to a hotel are usually looking for a place to sleep for a weekend or a few days. Those who go camping extend their stay for two weeks, three weeks or even longer. So, although everything you set up will have to be dismantled after a few days, it is true that the thought of a relatively long stay will lead you to prepare the space carefully.
Of course, the first thing you should be clear about is that no matter how long you stay at the campsite, you should try to make sure that the decoration of the pitch is easy to set up and take down. This way you won’t spend too much of your holiday doing this. With this in mind, you can prepare reusable equipment such as the one shown below.
Awning, tent
As long as it is part of the unit, you can place an awning to provide shade, protection from the wind and privacy. Under the awning you can place your rug, table or sofa. It will be the perfect place to take a nap, read a book or indulge in your favourite relaxing activity.
Parasol
If you want to do without an awning, but without giving up the shade, you can get a parasol. They are available in large sizes and different shapes, some of them extremely elegant and decorative. You can move it and place it just where you need it, depending on the time of day.
Table with chairs
Tables with chairs are another option for decorating the plot. Of course, we are not talking about the classic folding table made of metal and plywood, which certainly does the job, but is not very decorative. The manufacturers of camping tables have gone to great lengths to create designs that have little to envy of the terrace tables that you would put in your garden at home. Of course, they are adapted so that they can be assembled and disassembled in no time at all without the need for tools.
But it’s not just the design of these elements. Many people put colourful cushions on the chairs and decorations on the table, making those passing by turn around to see how comfortable the space is. Without a doubt, lunches and dinners in such an environment are more comforting.
Sun loungers
Others decide to use light loungers, with cheerful or elegant designs to create a chill out space. They set up a low table for drinks and snacks and can spend entire afternoons reading, watching their favourite series or simply enjoying the pleasure of a good conversation with their companion.
Artificial grass
Whether you opt for a dining room or a relaxation area, many people make the place cosier by laying artificial grass. It is comfortable, easy to transport and can last for years. The ability to walk barefoot outdoors and the natural ambience it provides means that more and more customers are including it in their decorating choices.
Flowers
If you want to give a natural and fresh atmosphere to the plot, you can place flowers around it. Many people bring their own, others buy them at their destination. The point is that, with a minimum investment, you can fill your holiday space with life and joy.
Playhouse
If you have small children, the option of their own space within the plot is perfect for them to enjoy their stay even more. They can leave their favourite toys, some cushions, a rug and thus have their own private play area. They will spend whole afternoons letting their imagination run wild and will take away with them a pleasant memory of their stay at the campsite.
The idea of a playhouse is an option that the little ones will love and will provide a very pleasant family atmosphere. There are mini tents, fabric castles, teepees and other models on the market. The best thing is that, as they are made of fabric, they fold up and do not take up any space when transported.
